I'm Mizuki, or Miki for short, an Asian-American Transgender illustrator turned fine artist based in Brooklyn, New York, Currently seeking work. My Pronouns are She/Her
I am well-versed in many different media types after studying illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology, graduating with a minor in both Art History and Asian Studies, as well as a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Illustration.
Fashion Institute of Technology has heightened my sense of fashion, which rubs off on my work today. My work is rooted in themes that come from my own life experiences, as well as a thirst to try and master new things.

When not pursuing visual art, I love to keep myself challenged by performing in the theatrical arts. Previous Roles in shows include Fester Addams in “The Addams Family,” Moritz Stiefel in “Spring Awakening,” and Mr. Cladwell in “Urinetown.”
I love everything Musical theatre and Broadway!
Classically trained in contemporary singing styles such as Jazz, Rock, and Musical Theatre, I have a large repertoire and vast knowledge of all kinds of music.
Self-taught and able to play the ukulele and drum set.
